Shannon Goldstein, Site-Director / Lead Discovery Teacher; Program Director of Accreditation 

email Shannon Shannon earned her BAS from the University of MN-Duluth in Speech and Language Development and has her MN Teaching License. She earned her Masters and Teaching Licensure in Early Childhood from Concordia University, St. Paul. She has been teaching and directing for the Discovery Center since 2003. Shannon’s interests include running, biking, knitting, training/showing horses and being with her family. She added running marathons in recent years!

Georgia Morgan, Explorers Lead Teacher (Older Toddlers)

Email Georgia Georgia has an Associates Degree in Early Childhood from Rasmussen College. She has been teaching with the Discovery Center since 2015. She is passionate about early childhood learning. Georgia enjoys cooking, crafting, reading and spending time with her husband and young daughter.

Amanda Jackson, Lead Infant Teacher

Email Amanda Amanda has a BA in Early Childhood Studies from Metro State University. She joined the Discovery Center in 2013 as an assistant teacher before moving into the Lead Infant Teacher role. Amanda enjoys reading, knitting and crocheting, cooking and baking, learning new languages and spending time with her husband, family and friends. She treasures time traveling to visit family. “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”  -Helena Keller

Rachel Dwyer, Assistant Teacher

Rachel joined the Discovery Center team in 2016 and has taught with several age-groups. Rachel plans to go back to school for child development and special education.  Rachel likes to spend time outdoors and play games at home with her young children. “Live life to your fullest today, because you’re never guaranteed tomorrow.”

Cathy Rademacher, Lead Kinderstart Teacher

email Cathy Cathy has her BS in Elementary Education and her MN Teaching License. She has been teaching preschool for the majority of her career. She joined the Discovery Center teaching team at Our Savior’s Fall of 2018.  Cathy enjoys running, reading, traveling and cheering for the Green Bay Packers. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you, plans to give you hope and a future.”  – Jeremiah 29:11  




Kim Scherber, Lead Explorer Teacher, YoungerToddlers

Email Kim Kim has her BA in Communications/Public Relations from UW-Eau Claire. She joined the Discovery teaching team in 2012. Kim enjoys sports, travel and being involved in volunteering at her church. “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.”  – Philippians 4:13

Mary Boldt, Assistant Teacher

  Mary has worked in early childhood/preschool education for 18 years! She joined the Our Savior’s Discovery Center in 2018.  Mary’s interests are running, biking, reading and watching sports. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”  – Philippians 4:13      





Jackie Schwartz, Assistant Teacher

  Jackie joined the Discovery Center teaching team at Our Savior’s in the Fall of 2018.  She loves her time in the infant room, playing and working with the youngest learners! Jackie enjoys baking, singing in church choir, and taking walks. “The family that prays together, stays together.”



Shelbe Robertson, Assistant Teacher

  Shelbe joined the Discovery Center teaching team the summer of 2018. She has her Associates of Arts degree in Early Childhood Development from South Central College.  Shelbe’s interests include cooking, boating, fishing, painting and reading. “The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The Grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.”  – Romans 16:20    





Michelle Johanson, Assistant Teacher

Michelle joined the Discovery Center team Fall of 2018. She studied Travel and Hospitality at Minneapolis Business and has studied Childcare Skills and Strategies / Intro to Childcare Profession through the State of Wisconsin. Michelle loves hanging out with her family, going on car rides, trying new restaurants, camping, hiking, biking, going to movies and reading! “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”  – Isaiah 41:10
