Mary joined the Discovery Team in 2016 as a Lead Teacher after graduation with a BA in Elementary Education. She took over as Site Director at Annunciation’s Discovery Center in 2018.

Hannah Chisham, Lead Discovery Teacher

Hannah has her Elementary Education degree with a Pre-Primary emphasis. Her MN Teaching License is PreK-6th grade. She joined the Discovery Team in 2017. 

Hannah enjoys exploring Minneapolis and spending time with family and friends.

Kewanda Robinson, Assistant Teacher

 

Kewanda earned her DCA at Ellis University. Prior to joining the Discovery Center in 2014, she taught at KinderCare, as well as several years at St. David’s Family and Childcare Services in Plymouth, MN.

Kewanda enjoys traveling, event planning, hearing live music and spending time with her family. A favorite pastime is reading books to the kids in her neighborhood in her downstairs lobby.

Rachel Statz, Assistant Teacher

Cia graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a degree in Family Studies. She is currently working on her Masters in Education. Cia has been teaching at Annunciation’s Discovery Center since 2015.

Cia enjoys camping, yoga, hiking and painting.

Michelle Guertin, Assistant Teacher

 

Michelle graduated from Moorhead State University with a degree in Speech/Communications. Along with working for the Discovery Center, Michelle is also a substitute teacher at Annunciation Catholic School.

Michelle and her husband have three grown children and foster puppies through SAFE HAND Animal Rescue. She is a singer, both professionally and with the Annunciation Church Choir.

Misty Latham, Assistant Teacher

 

Misty has been teaching with the Discovery Center since 2016. She has her BS in Child Psychology and is pursuing her MA in Counseling.

Misty loves spending time with family, running and discovering new parks with her young son.
