Community of Grace’s Discovery Center opened in 2003 and became the second site to partner with Lake Area Discovery Center (LADC). The site has continued to grow over time and is currently the largest site in the program. Formerly named First Lutheran Church, it is easily accessible from highway 61 in White Bear Lake, near the intersection of County Road F.
Mercedes Finstuen is the Site-Director of this robust site that houses an infant program, two toddler classrooms along with the PreK program.
She joined the LADC team in 2023 and is also a Lead Kinderstart Teacher, co-teaching with Shannon Goldstein.
