Faithful Beginnings Preschool at St. John the Baptist Catholic School
Faithful Beginnings Preschool at St. John the Baptist Catholic School launched their new EXPANDED PROGRAMMING and partnership with Lake Area Discovery Center in June of 2021. The site now offers programming with Toddlers through Pre-Kindergarten, with an emphasis on parent-partnership and high-quality educational experiences rooted in Catholic values.
Becky Melton is the Discovery Center Site Director. Becky has her BS in Early Childhood Education and her Masters of Education degree. She joined the team at St. John the Baptist Discovery Center in 2023. Her teaching experiences include Kindergarten, First Grade, and many experiences in childcare centers and preschools. Becky’s favorite part of teaching: “I love watching the children grow and learn! Creating fun and unique learning opportunities and watching their love and joy as they experience hands on learning without even realizing that they are learning is so enjoyable!”
