Lake Area Discovery Center at Trinity Lutheran opened in 2006 due to the high demand in the Stillwater area following the opening of the Our Savior’s site. Trinity serves infants-5 year-old pre-kindergarteners, and houses our largest Pre-K classroom as well as a beautiful indoor gym. It is also home to the community playground that was built in partnership with Trinity Lutheran Church, Stillwater Headstart, and LADC.
Director Ashley Perez joined the team in Fall of 2022. Ashley has a wealth of experience in teaching and directing in early childhood education. She had been with LADC as a parent for several years before joining the teaching team in 2022. Ashley’s degree is from the University of Wisconsin, Stout. She loves working with the kids and experiencing life through their eyes!
In addition to Site-Director, Ashley is also the Lead Discovery Room Teacher at Trinity’s Discovery Center.
