Shannon earned her BAS in speech and language development from the University of Minnesota-Duluth and has her MN Teaching License. She also earned her Master’s and Teaching Licensure in Early Childhood from Concordia University, St. Paul. Shannon has been teaching and directing for the Discovery Center since 2003. Her interests include running, biking, knitting, training/showing horses, and being with her family. In recent years, she has added running marathons!

Teresa joined the Redeemer Lead Teaching Team in the Fall of 2024. Teresa studied Early Childhood at Central Lakes College and has worked as a preschool teacher, licensed family childcare owner and childcare center teacher/assistant director.
Teresa’s favorite part of teaching is being able to witness children grow and to see God’s wonder and love through them.

Rachel is currently working toward her Child Development Associates degree for early childhood education. She has worked in the Roseville Area Schools and preschool for the past several years.
Rachel’s favorite part of teaching is meeting and getting to know the children and watching them learn and grow.

Sarah has her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and is licensed for K-6. She was a K-4 sub for three years, before teaching 4th grade for a year. Sarah joined LADC at Redeemer in the Fall of 2024.
Her favorite part of teaching is seeing the “a-ha” moment on a child’s face!

Anna joined the LADC Teaching Team in the Fall of 2017. She graduated from Concordia University/St. Paul with her B.A. in Birth-3rd Grade Early Childhood Education. Her favorite part of teaching is the laughter inside her classroom, being able to see and observe children explore and discovery new skills and abilities every day! She loves showing them how to love learning to set them up for future success by providing a variety of learning scenarios matching each child’s learning style.
