Hannah Valdez, Site Director/Lead Discovery Teacher 

email Hannah Hannah first started teaching for the Discovery Center in 2007 after graduating from Northwestern University with her BA in Pre-Primary and Elementary Education and MN Teaching License. After several years, she left to teach internationally with a mission in Bangledesh before returning to the Discovery Center as a Site Director/Lead Teacher in 2014. Hannah loves to spend time with family and friends. She enjoys camping and boating.

Maureen Marino, Assistant Teacher

Maureen began teaching with St. Bart’s Discovery Center in the Spring of 2017. She has an Elementary Education Degree from Creighton University. Maureen enjoys baking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Brent Erikson, Assistant Teacher

Brent received his Associates degree in Graphic Design from Hennepin Technical College. He has been teaching with St. Bart’s Discover Center since 2015. Brent enjoys golfing, biking, boating, snowmobiling and hanging out with his children, family and friends at the cabin near Nisswa, MN.

Lori Anderson, Assistant Teacher

Lori has her B.A. in Social Work and Early Childhood Development from Bethel University. She joined the St. Bart’s team Fall of 2017. Lori has an interest in interior design and enjoys spending time with her family.

Shelly Anderson, Assistant Teacher

Shelly joined the St. Bart’s Teaching Team in the Fall of 2019. She has her B.A. from the University of Wisconsin and enjoys camping, hiking, exploring and growing!
